Creating emotional identity, is how Niccos Gyros will form local identity. As company founder it is my mission to build a dedicated fellowship. Our menu items show our visitors, that we have expertise in our craft in Gyros and Greek cuisine. Building trust enables us opportunity to advertise and market in grass roots arena. Customers want to do business with people they know, not big corporate entities with no face or emotional bond. I believe that everyone wants to be heard, and appreciated, going the extra miles is how referrals are established touches. When customer has an issue or wants to share positive experience it’s critical to respond with professionalism and appreciation for reason you are in business. Without our customers,  Niccos Grecko Gyros, we don't exist. The only time human interest stories aren't effective is when you incorporate sale of product as premise to marketing campaign. Honesty and integrity go long way in business transactions.

  1. People are losing confidence in bigger businesses, and now more than ever looking for locally owned small businesses. People are key and creating a reputation like you are describing sounds not only possible but sounds like it will be very successful. I really admire your personal outlook on your business.

  2. First of all I like to comment on post style, background picture and fonts, very nicely done!
Very good pointers on when one can make conversations personal especially after developing trust from customers. As a owner you are able to provide real life experiences, which is really helpful for future aspirant business owners. Nice post!

  3. I like your connection of your food to family, conversations and emotional connections, in addition to your business. People aren't just buying a Gyro, but rather an experience that they can connect with better than just food. I think people expect an experience and emotional connection these days over just a product. It looks like you have the right idea of creating more meaning behind your food and sharing a bit of Greek Mediterranean lifestyle with your food.
